Anna M. Mavrakis

IDS Professional

Anna M. Mavrakis is a professional certified Interior Designer through the Interior Design Society. She has been in the remodeling and decorating business for more than 29 years and has been a featured speaker at national trade shows, she has acted as a judge in national design competitions, and she speaks locally to consumer and professional groups on decorating and design.

Anna is happily married to Bill, with whom she has been in business since 1983 – together, they own and operate both Cottage Draperies & Interiors and Mavrakis Construction. With their combined areas of expertise, they present a powerfully unique business that specializes in whole house renovations, additions, and kitchen & bathroom remodeling, as well as interior design and home furnishings. In 1994, they were named one of the top 50 remodelers in the United States by Remodeling magazine and have won numerous design awards for their work. They have been featured locally in the Canton Repository and The Cleveland Plain Dealer, and nationally in magazines such as Remodeling, Professional Remodeler, and Better Homes and Gardens Special Interest Publications.

Anna is a current member and the past president of Quota International of Massillon, the Interior Design Society (IDS) of Northeast Ohio. In 2012, Anna was elected to her second term as National President of IDS. She is an active member of the Mercy Service League and a past Regional Vice President of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, NARI. Anna attended Kent State University and Akron University where she majored in Interior Design.
